Dr. Petrie, along with UNT Director of Sports Medicine Jeff Smith, UNT Team Physician Dr. Ryan Matheson, and Athletic Trainer Emily Wilder presented on American Athletic Conference (AAC) Student-Athlete Mental Health at the annual conference of the Alliance of Intercollegiate Sports Medicine in Clearwater Beach, FL. With sportsmedicine directors and team physicians from the AAC and Big East Conferences in attendance, Dr. Petrie presented on the Center's recent research on MH screening in the AAC. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion, as Drs. Petrie and Matheson and Jeff Smith and Emily Wilder shared their experiences in providing mental health care at UNT.
