Center News

The Center for Sport Psychology has entered into a long-term partnership with the DISD to improve the physical health, psychological well-being, academic performance and eating behaviors of middle school boys and girls. The Center staff is collaborating with the physical education teachers at each middle school to assist them in implementing the state-mandated fitness testing using the FITNESSGRAM (as required by Senate Bill 530), and to help them create an environment that supports students being more physically active and fit.

The Center for Sport Psychology has been selected to provide the sport psychology services to the athletes, coaches, and teams at the University of North Texas. Through this agreement, any athlete, team, and/or coach, may use our services to help them reach their performance goals. Learn more about our partnership with Mean Green athletics
