CENTER DIRECTOR AND STAFF PROVIDE SPORT PSYCHOLOGY TRAINING TO COACHES AND ATHLETES AT KENYON COLLEGE

Dr. Trent A. Petrie and doctoral student Troy Moles spent a day and a half working with the athletes and coaches at Kenyon College to help them refine their mental approach to training and performing. Through large and small group presentations and meetings, they introduced the athletes and coaches to the importance of developing a Championship Mindset and how to be effective leaders within their teams.  Dr. Petrie and Mr. Moles also were able to speak with the students in an advanced clinical psychology course about the status of the field of sport and counseling psychology.
